Custom traditional 68 inch yew longbow hand-made from a stave and tillered to draw 44 pounds at a 28 inch draw length (please note this is the maximum draw length for this bow - see Draw Weight Curve chart for draw weights at shorter draw lengths) with deer antler nock tip overlays. Just under 1.5" wide at the fades tapering to 1/2" wide tips.
This bow has some character with several small knots and some limb twist that do not affect the integrity of the bow. There is about 3/4” of string follow right after unstringing.
Red mahogany stain really brings out the grain of the sapwood, finished with eight coats of Tru-Oil and buffed with steel wool and wax polish. Matching leather grip with suede arrow pass (shoot off the hand).
Hand-made 14-strand B55 Dacron flemish twist string with black center serving material and green nocking points.
Includes leather string keeper (holds the string on the bow when unstrung) and fleece bow sock.
