Right or left-handed custom traditional 71 inch (68 inches nock to nock) yew ELB (English Long Bow) inspired longbow hand-made from a stave. Tillered to draw 50 pounds at a 28 inch draw length (this is the maximum draw length for this bow - see Draw Weight Curve chart for draw weights at shorter draw lengths). This bow has about 1.5"-2" of natural string follow right after shooting. "D" shaped belly with bison horn nock tips. Finished with several coats of Tru-Oil and buffed with steel wool and wax polish. Leather grip with suede arrow passes (shoot off the hand). Hand-made 14-strand B55 Dacron flemish twist / bowyer's knot string with center serving material and nocking points. Includes leather string keeper (holds the string on the bow when unstrung), stringer/extra string and fleece bow sock.
This bow has some character with a few small knots and some limb twist in the upper limb (string aligns through the center of the handle).
